A financial advisor at Fess Financial in Texas, Christopher Fess has been working in the finance industry for more than three decades. He began his career shortly after receiving a bachelor’s in business from Baylor University in 1986. Following his graduation, he enrolled at The American College, where he earned designations as a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). These designations grant Christopher Fess extensive knowledge in such key concepts as retirement plan funding, investment risk tolerance, life-course transitions, and long-term care insurance.
Beyond these designations, Christopher Fess has received several FINRA certifications. To make him eligible for work as a stockbroker, he completed the examinations necessary for his Series 7, 6, and 63 certifications. Meanwhile, he also completed the Series 65 exam to work as an investment advisor representative and Series 24 exam for his work as a general securities principal.
Mr. Fess supplements this formal education with his personal experience as a financial advisor and instructor. Prior to his current position, he served as a financial advisor for Northwestern Mutual and Asset Enjoyment & Protection. He also conducts workshops and classes throughout North Texas and Arkansas that inform the public about topics relating to asset protection and financial management.
